Our Story

Founded in 2017, Drongkowskis was born by Tiff Drong a native to the St. George, Flamborough area. This little “hole in the wall” deli is a spin off of what farmers markets are all about… Local, fresh, wholesome food, that is produced and sourced within our store limits. Scratch made, with no short cuts. We source and support other local farmers, producers and artisans that have the same beliefs.

That is what it is all about here. Good food.

Tiff knows all about the local food movement. Back in 2012 she owned and operated Goats in Motion, raising 300 boer goats. Goats in Motion bread, reared, processed and marketed its own chevon (goat meat). Tiff learnt the culinary skills of butchery through this process, working closely with a provincial packing plant. She also learnt the fundamentals of sales and marketing at the farmers markets at a young age. In the peak of Goats in Motion prime Tiff participated at 5 farmers markets a week catering to the regions of Niagara to Toronto. As well as supplied specialty butcher shops and restaurants with her varieties of chevon cuts.

In 2014, Tiff took over a condiment company called Celestial Delights. From there she participated at One of a Kind Show in Toronto, both spring and winter, as well as seasonal Christmas Markets in and around the Hamilton and Kitchener area. Tiff rented commercial kitchen space in Dundas to manufacture and produce her gourmet mustard sauces, spice seasonings and infused oils for several years.

Sustainability and growth have always been super important words. After participating in hundreds of markets, over 5 year, having an appointment only shopping outlet on her family farm, renting a farm to raise her live stock and renting a kitchen space-Tiff morphed her expertise and dreams into Drongkowskis Farm Market & Deli in St. George.

“If you can dream it and believe it- you can accomplish anything.”
